John Cowell is a songwriter from Victoria, BC Canada. He married with one 23 year old son. John bought his first guitar, for $20, at age 14 and wrote his first song 16. John has co-written songs with #1 country songwriter Tom Shepherd, Roots Juno winner Ken Whiteley, Martyn Joseph and also with Lisa Aschmann and Lowry Olafson (Pier 21, Stronger Than You'll Ever Know and I'm losing What's Left Of My Mind, all three are published and recorded by Lowry Olafson).
